For those of you who have ever caught one of my grammatical errors and pointed it out to me, what is the worst and/or most negative response

I’ve given you?  (Or, if you’ve seen me respond negatively to someone else who caught one of my errors, what had been the worst response in your opinion?)

I've seen some of your rare mistakes but have never pointed them out.
Since you're an excellent grammarian, I assume the error is part of a jest.

I have a vague memory of a mini brouhaha with some fellow over an error in your grammar - but can't remember the details.
At the time, I don't remember feeling anything other than surprise that someone had the cojones to challenge you.
I can't remember your reaction - which would mean that it didn't trigger any strong feelings in me.

I imagine that you'd take it on the chin because you value facts even if they're unpleasant.

However, if the other person criticised in a personal way, then I think it might have triggered you, and you might have responded with the equivalent of, "please, go jump in some cold water," or, "please, leave me and my grammar alone; I need to be by myself to eat a tilde sammich."

I can't remember you ever giving a negative response; at least to me. You usually thank me. What a pal.
