Because in my youth, I've tried them all. The only reason I don't drink much is because I have vertigo for which I take medication. No point in taking meds to keep me from felling woozy and then drinking alcohol which will make me woozy. :)
I love artichokes and water. Take a bite of well steamed heart of artichoke with some vinaigrette, chew and swallow. Then take a sip of water. The flavour will flare with a unique and delicious aftertaste on the tongue.
