is it true youre not supposed to go out after 5pm or the police will pick you up?
my neighbor said she read that in the paper today, i thought they meant just groups, so is it true? i couldnt get the paper, she had already gotten rid of hers and they were sold out
I don't know what the law is in your state. As far as the nation goes, we are not supposed to be out at all except for essential reasons. However, police don't seem to be enforcing that rule.
That would be a local rule. Up to individual governors and mayors. I do know some towns have a 5:00 curfew. One city an hour from me has a 9:00 curfew. My daughter has a card from work for if police pull her over.
You should be able to go to your town's or county's website and see what they are doing.

I don't think you should really trust anything your neighbor says he or she read in the paper or saw on TV because your neighbor's not a primary source. You really need to be watching listening to your local news and reading your local paper for yourself if you're not doing that already.
Here are the websites you should be visiting to get your information:
Although AM is a Q&A site and your fellow AM peeps usually try to answer questions the best way we know how, we're probably just not the best people to ask for information about your local rules and regulations, but I do know who you can ask!
Your county government has a phone number to call just for questions about COVID-19 and your local government's health orders so you can call to get all of that information. It's 970-400-2111. Sorry if I'm not supposed to post phone numbers here so if it gets edited you can just visit your county's or your city's official websites.
