I’m extremely fortunate that A) my job is considered essential, which means that B my paycheck has remained intact, and C) even though they have sent us home to work, it’s on a flex schedule, meaning that D) I go into the office part of the week and work from home part of the week.
I am not sequestered at home all the time the way the majority of people are, and I’m grateful for that, because the semblance of normalcy helps maintain the tiny bit of sanity that I do have. ~
I'm in a similar situation. One of a few in my office that still needs to be here daily. Could work from home if needed but I'd still need to come in at least 3 days a week. Not sure how much that would even do so I just come in as I've always done. I'm going to hate once all the traffic returns to the roads, lol.
I only start to feel 'insane' when I have to venture into a store or other enclosed space. I'm very fortunate that even though I have an 'essential worker' letter from my employer, I'm able to work from home. If I were forced into the office or the homes of others in order to earn my paycheck, I'd be in serious trouble.
Nice song choice! I'd all but forgotten about Jamiroquai!
