I'm really not sure. I can give it a guess. I tend to like names that balance. Megan (which, in my opinion, does not need the "h" to know how to pronounce it and looks silly) is a soft name. My brain wants a soft last name to follow. Marbel is softer and sounds better to my ear. Megan Marbel "rolls" off the tongue easier. Since she didn't have an opportunity to pick her last name, her parents might have used an attention-getting and more direct first name. Example: Kelly Markle or Katie Markle.
Yes, sweets. Sorry. My brain doesn't spell correctly. This is one of the many reasons you are so important to me. Marbles like kids used to collect and play. If I were writing for a newspaper no one would take me seriously because of my spelling errors. Thanks Stu! :) :)
