Jamie Jaimie. Aw geez, that's a great film with Steve Buscemi, actually set in North Dakota (where Fargo is) and Minnesota in the northern US. But you can ask her all kinds of questions aboot Canada, eh?

Fargo is in North Dakota, eh. The movie was filmed in Minnesota and North Dakota. Not Canadian. Nort Dakotans and Minnesootens just sound Canadian.

A great movie, all-around, for me!

Others have already mentioned the geographical discrepancy. :)

I always greet by saying "hello how y'are?"
And the person responds: "I are fine"

Lol, why do people always think Canada and Minnesota are the same thing?? We don’t sound anything like them lol. Actually, I think people from Newfoundland do, they say weird things like “yar” and “screech in’. “ This post was edited by Jaimie at April 18, 2020 6:38 AM MDT
