What is your view of people who regularly misuse big words they misunderstand, in a vain attempt to seem more intelligent?

Do you find them amusing, irksome, or do you just feel indifference?

    This is not a big word but have a tendency to use incorrectly.  Accept and except.
    I accept the fact I use the word incorrectly.
    I except the fact I use the word incorrectly.

    Which is correct? and why?

    The first one.

    Accept- to receive willingly; to give admittance or approval. 

    Except- to exclude or take objection to.

    I'll try very hard to incorportate them correctly when needed.
    I don't know why but for some reason, I've always had a problem with those.
