Since we no longer work an early morning job, we have been sleeping in. A nice change after 15 years. We did like the money, though. My wife also had to quit her day jobs cleaning houses.

I still go to bed and wake up at my normal times even though I’m working from home. I don’t like not having a set schedule even if I don’t really need one right now.

Back in the days of decent spring mornings, I would get up with the singing birds. But there is snow on the ground now. It is a crappy morning!

Most of the snow is gone here and the sun is shitely brining. I's pretty nice.

Do you usually get snow this late in the year? I’m used to it snowing into March, but not April.

Here in Southern California, it’s still raining in April, usually the rain only lasts from November to late January.

Yes. We’ve been in drought conditions for about a decade now.

It‘s nice that the earth is repairing itself now that WE are all going die from the plague. This post was edited by Jaimie at April 18, 2020 8:26 PM MDT

My pets are staying up all night and sleeping all day and seem to be on edge.

My sleep pattern is really messed up.  I went to sleep this morning at 8 and woke at 4 this afternoon.  If I don't intervene I will be ready for bed tomorrow morning around 10 and sleep until 6 tomorrow afternoon.  I get tired of fighting it....my body operates on a 26-hour day.  Since I retired I go a while not caring but then sometimes I make myself go to bed so that I wake by 9 or 10 am....that is an efficient schedule for me but it doesn't come naturally.

The amount of sleep. I have slept about 30 more nights than I had a month ago.

That doesn’t preclude you from attempting to crack dad jokes.

It wasn't a joke. It was a truthful answer to your question.
