That makes sense.

Most people can barely manage to sock away enough to last them two months, let alone six.  I can manage more than six months.

I'd say enough for five years or the duration of a world war.

But few ever earn enough to be able to save that much.

I have more than enough. 

i've never been able to save money.  I would have to write checks.
