    The landline - to stop the annoying calls of a hoaxer pretending to be our phone company and trying to convince us that our computers are infected with malware.

    When we rang Telstra, the company assured us that they never solicit or tout for that kind of business, that this one is a widespread scam and that it's being investigated by the Federal fraud squad.
