What kind of leader eggs on anarchy?  Governors are doing this in an effort to protect their citizens (something the great orange chief refuses to do).  It's understandable that people are becoming frustrated with this, but for the nations leader to egg them on??  I don't want to wish evil on anyone, but perhaps if the blamer in chief got the virus (and survived) he'd have a different point of view (as would many of the protesters).

People are angry, but I doubt that many understand the full scope of things.  Picture Ford Field (a football stadium in Michigan), filled to capacity with people.  Now picture them all dead!  THAT'S how many people have died - in this country alone - due to this virus.  People bitch and protest about 1 life - black lives matter, capital punishment is cruel, stop abortions - and yet 65,000 people are dead just from this virus alone... and that's just since January 1st! 1 vs 65000.   It's quite evident that lives only matter to others if it's convenient for them.  And how is our leader leading?  By taking to Twitter and acting like a 6-year old.

    Yes... 65,000 deaths is bad.

People are not protesting just 1 life....Abortion kills 10× that number every year. Over 650,000 are killed every years many years even more than that.  10 of those football stadiums killed EVERY year.

Exactly. Pumpkina** is the INSTIGATOR IN CHIEF. Anything he can do to foment rage and hate he does. He is very good at that! So many puppetheads out there. Was America always filled with such stupidity and we just didn't notice or have they become stupid? If so we are not progressing we are regressing back to caveman days or earlier. Back to the beginnings of life. And then? I don't know but it doesn't bode well. Thank you for your thoughtful reply Shuhak and Happy Sunday! :)

Sadly, America was filled with stupidity long before this idiot took office.  However, when stupid is in charge, the rest of the morons come crawling out of the woodwork like cockroaches (stupidity attracts stupidity).  Hopefully, once this "dark night" is vanquished and light is restored, these cockroaches will crawl back into the woodwork where they belong.

How can you be sure it's not the followers of MSNBC, Morning Joe et al who are the obedient puppets?

Trump just said that they look like very good people. But when the white surpremacist showed up at a protest Trump said that there were very good people on both sides. My point is this time Trump didn't say that there are very good people on both sides - people that want to reopen the country and people who want to stay home untill it is safe. Cheers and happy weekend!

There was only one side protesting....the other side was at home. So there was only one side to comment on.

As for Charolettesville....there were good people on both sides....there were also bad people on BOTH sides.

I live in Michigan and I have to say that our illustrious governor has implemented some of the most draconian shutdown orders in the country. Michigan legislature is bringing charges against her for overriding the state Constitution among other several other anti-constitution, anti-freedom executive orders. The "state of emergency" our governor declared, ran out at midnight May first. But then she took it upon herself to extend the shutdown another two to three weeks, without permission from the state legislature.

Sheriffs from four different Michigan counties said Wednesday they will not strictly enforce Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s social-distancing restrictions that critics say have gone too far.

“While we understand her desire to protect the public, we question some restrictions that she has imposed as overstepping her executive authority,” Leelanau County Sheriff Mike Borkovich, Benzie County Sheriff Ted Schendel, Manistee County Sheriff Ken Falk and Mason County Sheriff Kim Cole said in a press release".

When law enforcement begins to buck the powers that be, in this case, the governor, it has to be serious. So wanting to liberate Michigan from a power-grabbing, jack-booted politician is understandable. I didn't vote for her because I didn't trust her but it looks like those who voted Gretchen Whitmer into office are getting more than they bargained for.

This is what happens when you DON'T.

Incidentally, Milwaukee went into lockdown more fully than anywhere else during the 1918-19 flu pandemic, and bounced back more strongly than practically anywhere else - because their workforce hadn't been decimated.

It. Saves. Lives. Are dollars more important?

What does that have to do with not being able to buy seeds for food? Cannot buy paint?  Can kayak but not motorboard alone?  And other nonsense laws?  These are not saving lives at all.
