Who do you think would be a good running mate for Biden?

I watched Robert De Niro on the Late Show the other night and I thought he would be a good running mate. He could help pull in the votes plus he seems pretty smart and caring. Also I don't think he would be a yes man like Pence. Cheers and happy weekend!

I did't see him recently, but some time ago, he was a guest on Stephen Colbert's show and I thought he was a dud.  No conversational ability, yes and no answers.  Colbert literally had to pull teeth to get him to string more than two words together. He was on the same show a couple of nights ago  - he is a man of few words but I think they are thoughtfull words. Right now he is involved in a project to help get Americans out and start  going to social events and  having fun together again while still staying safe from the virus. One of the plans is to start having film festivals  at drive in theaters. Trump say's new jobs will be created  maybe he is right and we will have De Niro to thank. Maybe these festivals will help Americans see what they have been missing and the Drive in theaters will start booming again. I just made up a Donald Trump Drive in theater joke. Q : How many Donald Trump's can fit in  car trunk so you can sneak them into a drive in? A: almost  one excluding the butt cheeks. Cheers and happy weekend! LOL ... Well, he may have been more forthcoming because he was talking up a pet project, but when he was on before, Colbert was asking him about The Irishman and it was almost as though he didn't want to talk about it at all.

I don't think it matters much. With a few notable exceptions, such as LBJ in 1960, veep candidates don't change the trajectories or outcomes of presidential elections.
