     Wink, wink.  ((((I see what you’re doing there, pretending you know nothing about it, that’s a good move. That way, no one will suspect a thing. I’ll play along.))))

      By gosh, you’re right, I don’t know what I was saying. It must have been a joke or maybe I was repeating the plot to a FICTIONAL movie I saw recently. I would never send you money like that, especially not just prior to my hearing, what with you being a character witness and all. That would be unethical, diabolical, appalling and criminal. Nudge, nudge.
