any ways to get an apt manager to take things seriously?



     I have one that never wants to do nothing, he let my next door neighbor stay here for 9 months when she was doing meth, my other neighbor below me keeps bringing her grandkids,toddlers every wknd when the manager is gone cause she knows shes not supposed to, i love kids but i dont want to hear stomping around every wknd, especially when i cant get away to go to the library or wherever, shes breaking the lease cause theyre only supposed to stay 7 nights a yr, i think the manager might be leaving end of this month, wonder why. any suggestions? ive left him notes about all this

    Pearl, I think you need to stop caring so much about what other people do.  You don't have to accept abuse from anyone so if your neighbor's doing something to specifically harm you then that's when you need to stand up for yourself but your neighbor doing meth isn't anything personal against you and your other neighbor having her grandkids over isn't anything personal against you either so all you're doing is annoying your manager by leaving him notes.  He probably only sees arguing tenants that never shut up so I don't think he's ever going to take it seriously.

    The way you're describing this just makes you look like the cranky lady down the hall to them.  Don't be her.

    then that other stuff will do what it does
    but you won't even tune into it.

    Your apartment manager is there to take care of the building, not to make sure that nothing and nobody disturbs Pearl. Your tattling is probably a bigger pain to him than all those other people are to you.
