Israel Kamakawiwo'ole had a big hit with "Over the Rainbow" accompanying himself on the ukulele.

Off and on, I've still been thinking about your question.

Other than my first answer, the closest I've come so far with another answer is --

Voice with drum set, string bass and finger snaps

"Fever"  Peggy Lee  -- flawless to me

and probably THE only song sung by a female that makes me hot! Lee oozes understated sexuality in this song. But I like  Lee a lot. (Been hearing her since a little guy - - my parents played her stuff a lot.)

It's been sort of a crazy day or two for me -- somewhere I thought I had read that you asked me if I had known that  this was a trick question.  And now I don't see your question to me. :) Oh, well. :)

No, I hadn't realized this was a trick question. I guess I'm just thinking of songs with a singer getting accompanied by just one instrument. :)

Again, as we know, those darn "details" can sometimes escape me. Yours isn't the first question with which I've had challenges in the last day or two. :)
