I've lost 14 lbs cause of the pandemic, is that good for me to do that?

        before the pandemic i would eat in places like the senior center or at the salvation army when they had their women's meetings, or bible studies, now i eat at home more cause of places closing down, i find when i eat on my own and not eating all their fatty stuff i lose weight, i have high cholesterol, blood pressure and high sugar too, im prediabetic, i havent had a chance to check all this out yet. do you think the numbers went down? im supposed to see a doctor in june, mine retired so im seeing someone else, so is that good for 2 months of doing this?

    thats really good! healthy weight loss is 7 or 8 pounds a month (1.5-2 pounds a week). making food at home is way better for you than eating out since you can control what goes in and how much. i am betting the numbers went down, for sure. it will only get better from here as well.

    That is good as long as it is from eating better and not from lack of eating.  Good for you.

    Congratulations. :)

    Pearl, there is no harm whatsoever in such rapid weight loss.

    The most recent medical research proves this.

    You can check out the evidence presented by Dr Michael Moseley at https://thefast800.com/

    It's actually cheap and easy to create a healthy and tasty diet at home;
    there are hundreds of recipes worked out by chefs and nutritionists which meet the need.

    You could still meet at the church groups for companionship and community.

    Who knows, perhaps you could one day become a volunteer and end up suggesting a better menu.

    Since you are quite short, 14lbs might be of concern. Doctor needed.
