That's true, ha! That scene is possibly the strongest, most terrifying scene to me of the whole movie - - and I love the entire movie! What a scene! It still shocks me. :)
I went to a sci-fi/horror festival once and Karl Hardman (the father), Marilyn Eastman (the mother) and Kyra Schon ("Karen") were there together at a display/booth. Getting to meet and talk with them was cool. I bought a T-shirt -- it has a big image of "Karen's" face on the front and on the back it says only "I Hurt." Schon was the person who told me that that was Karen's only line in the movie -- I never noticed until then. But what Karen lacks in lines she certainly makes up for with her actions! :)
I've more than once visited the cemetery (of the opening scenes) in Evans City, Pennsylvania, USA. That's the town where the house was, too. The house is no longer there, though. I simply love that movie! :)
And though he has nothing to do with "Night of the Living Dead," I know you're a Stephen King fan. I really like a lot of his stuff! Just two things I'll mention - - I adore his original screenplay to the movie "Creepshow," directed by "Night of the Living Dead's" George Romero. Great movie for me! And, also, I find King's "The Regulators" (I think under his name of "Richard Bachman") one of his absolute best books! :)

I do admire people who put their face up like that. I always think that if they can do that, they.are.usually more honest than the rest. Which of course doesn't have to be true. But that's the feeling I get. That's a cool landscape behind you! Thanks for responding Nevan.
I suppose I can sometimes pick up on a person's interests or their type of humor from the avatar they use. Or their complete laziness and lack of creativity if they leave it as the site's generic avatar, ha.
Mine is a depiction from one of my favorite novels.
