Hawk Newsome, chairman of Black Lives Matter New York, said, "When black people become cops, they are no longer black. They are blue."

Seriously? He was talking about Congresswoman Val Demings, who was the first woman to head the police department in Orlando, FL. Why not just generalize and demonize all cops of any race or ethnicity? Is this what BLM is about?

Sounds like to me that ol’ Hawk just committed a black-on-black crime.

Furthermore, the underlying hypocrisy or paradox is that for more than a century, the valid complaint or argument was that police forces in general were completely staffed by non-minorities, and that was unfair because it guaranteed an “us vs them” situation and mindset. To alleviate that as a problem, to even the playing field, and to offer opportunities that were once denied, demands were made that the numbers and percentages of minorities on the police force be increased. Although that began to happen slowly, it did begin (approximately late 1960s to early 1970s), and half a century later, the previous all-white face of policing is practically nonexistent.   Apparently, that’s either not good enough for people like Hawk, or it’s forgotten/unknown/unrecognized/conveniently ignored.

Just another example of black-on-black discrimination.
Any black who has made a success of themselves "in whitey's world" MUST be an "Uncle Tom", because it's impossible for a normal black person to succeed on their own.  And any black who dates/marries outside their ethnicity is a "race traitor".
