As chef, no rain, no wind and about 20-25ºC would do me just fine.
As a guest, I'd love the same, but maybe a little hotter and some soft grass for lolling about with the other guests in the shade of a lovely tree.

Any weather is fine other than high wind.  I have pulled my charcoal grill up to my patio door many times to stand inside and bbq on the grill during the rain.

Wow, it has been so long since I've been out there to BBQ.  Where I live by the time you just start getting used to nice weather it changes and is cold again.   I have to admire the pioneers who, without, a daily weather report somehow managed to make it to the west coast.  God love em!

I don't cook, but as a diner, any time is good for BBQ.
