Not all of our animal instincts have disappeared. ..so my question is, can a man unconsciously sense when a woman is ovulating?

Not sure if it's subconscious but when a woman looks hot and damp it might be a clue she's ovulating.

I only pick up on the grumpy mood at "that time of the month"...

My Dad can tell. I think he's on the same cycle as me tbh.
