I believe so. You only learn to hate and not care about others, with the exception of psychopaths, of course.
But nurturing is natural to us.

Yes, I think we are. Before I got out of bed this morning, I was laying there thinking of a little black, fuzzy creature that runs around my house, and I was looking forward to seeing him. My little kitty. It's funny, isn't it? Little creatures that makes us feel more human. I mean, humans are creatures, too, but... This little creature brings me more happiness than most people do:

We hear ya m'dear. We have our Tigger whom we've had for ten years. He was a stray who adopted us much to our great good fortune. He is a constant delight  and does a very good job sharing himself between us. He seems to  know there is only one of him and two of us so he makes the rounds daily! Thank you for your reply lovely and Happy Saturday! :)

  • They may be, but from what I've seen, they are becoming more difficult to find. Wild animals are better parents than many human counterparts.
