YIPEE...I made it rain. I watered the garden and filled the pool. Have you ever done that?

Have I ever done what, made it rain? No, not in the meteorological sense of the phrase. Throughout my lifetime, I’ve watered many gardens that I’ve had or of which I have been in charge.  I’ve never filled a swimming pool.

You mean you've never taken a long hot shower?

As the warm water vapor of the shower interacts with the cool dry bathroom air, it creates clouds (steam).  As the warm moist air rises, it condenses on the ceiling (and mirrors).   When enough moisture condenses on the ceiling, gravity pulls it down.  Ta-da… you’ve made it rain (bathroom rain).  If the bathroom air is still cool enough at floor level, you can even squat down below the “cloud deck” (hot air rises, cold air sinks).  Performing this little experiment a few times gives you a great excuse to redo your bathroom (drywall isn’t too fond of bathroom rain).

Nice literary imagery, but none of that is meteorology.

    That’s meteorology 101.

(I’d let you argue it with my college professors, but they’re all dead now).

You “took care of them”, right?

I respectfully invoke my rights under the Fifth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution on the grounds that answering that question may incriminate me.

Aw, come on. They promised me immunity if I helped them catch someone else!  I can’t go to prison, Shuhak, you know I can’t!  I’m too pretty to go to prison!  Come on, throw a brutha a bone, would you?

On the advice of my lawyer, I respectfully invoke my rights under the Fifth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution because answering questions will… I mean... may incriminate me.

That's a lot of water, just to make it rain.
I find washing the car does it.

    lol

    Ha!
I laughed out loud at your question!

Yup -- like Walt O'Reagun said, it rains after I wash my car, too. I have some planted-in-the-ground perennial plants outside (haven't watered them yet today) but no official garden, per se.  No pool.

(Did it rain for you truly? I hope it does here.)

I really love rainy and cloudy weather. It is all so beautiful to me. I like that image you posted, too.

    Blah blah blah.

A big downpour early and a shorter one later.

Does that mean I can blame you? My shed got flooded.

It's not watering the garden or filling pools, but hanging the washing out, that is the "rain dance" for me!
