If you’ve ever detonated any type or types of explosives, what were they and how’d you get that gig? ~

My children and I made a baking soda and vinegar volcano. 

When fireworks were legal, we'd buy the ones that fizz and wrap them in several layers of tape so they went BANG! instead. Then we'd annoy the neighbours with them.

Just the least scary fireworks as an adult.  As a kid we used to do firecrackers all the time.  It's surprising we never lost any fingers.  We heard stories about kids losing hands and fingers though.

Saw a couple of tours in some pretty ugly places

On the farm we used ammonium nitrate to blow stumps etc.  A lot of fun in and of itself

Just fireworks.
