I am a magician and a wizard.  I am a contradiction. I did for 20 years but also am extremely active and athletic.  It has not ruled my world nor will it ever.  My health does.
I didn't necessarily stop smoking.  I just don't smoke cigarette tobacco.

    Big Winks and Smiles!
    It's magic.
I have a very clean bill of health.  My heat. My lungs and my body are above average for my age.
    It even amazed me!

Excuse me, but with all of my medical training, education, experience and expertise, I believe that I’m the best judge of whether or not you have a very clean bill of health. I will personally evaluate your heat, your lungs and your body to determine the areas in which you are above average.  It is up to you to amaze me.  Please remove all of your clothing and slip into my bathtub to prepare yourself for my examination. Oh, stop looking at me like that; this is all quite routine.  (Cough, cough.)

I'm running to the store, literally.  On my return, we must have your cough checked.
    Be right back!
    :) :)

My mother smoked 'Kent' cigarettes until she was about 30. Then she substituted with 'Lifesavers' candy. Well, her teeth decayed away, but she lived to be 87 and her lungs were fine.

Started at 17, quit a year later. Started again at 22 (pipe), quit at 41. I haven't smoked for 10 years. Too damned expensive these days.

  • I smoked for about 15 years.  My wife and I both quit starting August 28th, 2011 when we found out she was pregnant. My last cigarette was the night before.  I enjoyed it outside huddled against the side of the house while Hurricane Irene came through the area.

Smoked while in the Navy, for a few years.
Quit after i was out of the Navy.
Haven'y smoked cigarets in a few decades.
My first job out of the navy was selling
Kirby vacuums. Went to someones place to
put dirt on the floor and then vacuum it up.
I had just smoked a cigarette and when into this
    lady's house...she started throwing up
because i stunk with cigarette smell.
    That was the last time.
Now if i am around a smoker, i leave immediately
cus can't stand their smell ...haha
