I think it was a standard. scheduled TB vaccine. My arm became numb and turned blue..

I never liked seeing my kids vaccinated.... I remember my younger son at school, had a vaccination. I went in, as mothers were allowed to do, to be with/comfort the child. He'd not had any vaccinations since he was a baby, and hadn't expected it to hurt... It did hurt! And he cried and looked so shocked!

I am afraid I am an anti-vaxxer, we aren't popular, but those were not the reasons I became that way.

My wife got a flu shot. Once. It reacted with one of her other medications and landed her in hospital.

Influenza is the one infectious disease for which a vaccine exists which I don't bother getting a shot for. It's not broad spectrum, so they're only guessing which particular bug will bite you.

The most painful immunizations I can recall were RhoGAM during and after pregnancy. Turned out to be unnecessary, as I never had another RH positive child, but not worth the risk to refuse the injections.

    1) My daughter had an allergic reaction to the MMR. I wrote a long rant and deleted it. Let's just say it was a life-changing experience and it upsets me to this day.

    2) Click "questions" in the main menu. On a desktop or tablet held lengthwise, you'll have a second column to the right with a search feature. On a phone, the columns are stacked, so the search is at the bottom. Which is weird. I never noticed that. Poor planning. The story of my life. Sorry. :)

    3) Tags might help things appear in search engines too.

Ok, Lady, I tried to hold the desktop computer lengthwise, and dropped it in my foot. I now have two fractured toes, so I’ll need your address in order to send the medical bills. Grrrrrrr.

  • Last year when we did our annual NC beach trip it rained the entire week and my wife and oldest son both came down with pink eye.  Everyone was just angry the whole time we were there.  I'm surprised we're tempting fate and going back this year.

  • LOL, totally misread this question.  But I'm leaving this answer anyway so you can just post my entire response with strike-through.
