Do women talk between themselves in a manner comparable to the way Trump and friends talked about women?

I have many times heard, on talk shows for example, women making sexually charged remarks about men or a certain actor or athlete. Reality shows are full of that kind of sexual banter, and shows like Sex in the City, made them their daily bread.
Just the other day a female friend of mine, was telling me about the conversations carried on when she gets her hair done, and how they refer to wishing to have sex with a passerby as " going to Subway for lunch".
Here in this site, you don't have to go toofar to find very suggestive and sexually charged advances. With a female member exhorting another on the right attaire to wear, while at the same time posting Gifs of a pair of bouncing breasts.
In terms of gay men, the lever of sexual innuendo posted here (not in the adult area) it's fantastically easy to find.
.
Don't get me wrong, I think Trumps and Bush's behaviour was reprehensible at best , and criminal at worst. But, I also find interesting the sanctimonious attitude of some of the critiques.

Are we being hypocrites in our outrage at Trumps latest gaff?

  • You do have a point ... But for me it's not the language used or the subject matter... It's that he was stupid enough to say it while wearing a mic .. I don't need that kind of stupid running the west.
As regards the shrill sanctimony you hear... I think it's just a great excuse to call out in public to get rid of him ... Something I fully agree with

  • The sanctimony remark, very smart. I have to admit that it's an angle I have not entertained at all.
    Great thinking.
    Thank you always Ozgirl.

Women talk about their interests. Sex is not one those things. Sorry, guys. We like to talk about fashion, clothes, hair styles, makeup, shopping. We are interested in ourselves---how we look, how we feel, where we want to go, etc. We don't even talk about money, or the rent. We do like to talk about cooking, the kind of food we eat, and watch our calories.

We talk about books, music, movies, and traveling. We talk about sports, going to the gym, unless we workout in the garage. We like pets, children, and the subject of husbands or boyfriends is last. All we want is for them to love us and make us feel safe. • Thank you Marguerite. I wouldn't think everybody is the same.
Even within the same group that entertains that kind of talk, I think there will always be those individuals who won't.
    Thank you for responding.

Women talk the same way that men do about most topics.   Hate to tell you.  I have had tons of girlfriends and men friends.  The gamut.  We all wind up talking the same once the comfort factor is established.  Anything goes.   So, as far as my friends and cronies are concerned?   We would talk about Trump the same way that is for damned sure.

An unconscionable pig that has not a brain in his skull should sum it up nicely.

  • Btw,
    "Hate to tell you"
Is one on Trumps favorite catch phrases.
Did you do that on purpose?

No, not generally. It could be my circles but we don't insult men every chance we get.

  • You don't make comments together with your friends about men in a suggestive way, ever?

Never in a degrading way. And compliments are usually told to the person in question outright. Example 'that shirt looks good on you'. We also don't talk about how sexy our family are (dad, brother, son) as we don't think of them that way. It is disgusting to think of how bangeable your daughter is.

  • I understand that D, but come on, the daughter issue is not in question here. You know that.
I do understand what you mean with your degrading comment.
I can understand that. There's a big difference between a compliment and a degrading and disrespectful remark.
    I completely agree with you.
    Thanks for responding again D.
