Same, I always let them out, there was a red one in here earlier though so I has to get creative with a couple of spatulas get it outside. I wasn’t picking that one up with my hand. I have no idea what red spider is but it looked scary.

    B) and C) plus a little bit of E). We get a lot of spiders in the house because we heat with firewood  and they sneak in on the wood I bring in from outsie. There  are 2 kinds both kinds are agressive and they can give you a nasty bite or even kill a person if they are sick or have a heart condition. We also  get a few daddy long legs I catch them and put them on my house plants to eat the bugs and mites that are on the plants. Cheers!

I reminisce about college days and our alternative lyrics to IBS:

Oh the itsy-bitsy spider went up the water spout. Down came the rain and washed the spider out. Out came the sun and dried up all the rain, and the g**am son-of-a-biotch went up the spout again!

      E)  I let it live, because spiders are the law enforcement officers of the insect* world.   No cops = rampant chaos and anarchy.

*Yes, I already know that spiders are not insects themselves, but I didn’t state that they are.

Why am I not surprised that you have a grammar police angle on the subject?

Actually, it’s not etymology, it‘s more entomology.

Nope. Spiders do not belong in the house.  And a spider bite is awful to deal with.
