I believe it’s only one person. (Cough, cough).

Santa Claus of course,  residing at Canada's North Pole.
You don't hear much about him though during the summer -but just around Christmas time.

Oops I thought you meant an obsession with a person in Canada.

I’m referring to the one person here on AnswerMug who is apparently obsessed with Canada.

I truly did not understand your Santa reference.

Obsessed with Canada because the North Pole is where Santa Claus and all his elves working hard making toys for Chistmas reside.

No, I understand it now, what I meant was that before you mentioned the afterthought, I had not understood the reference.

I understand where you're coming from brother. I used to be obsessed with Tristan da Cunha - not any more though, because . . . . [REDACTED]. So I understand obsession.
There are ways of dealing with it. For instance, I help out my wife by washing the breakfast things while she walks the dog, makes the bed and does the shopping. Then she complains about the mess I've made, the wet round the kitchen sink for instance. I say to her, just keep whining and complaining Mavis, so I know where I stand, else I might jump to the crazy conclusion they've set an imposter on me to pave the way for an alien lookalike invasion.

Canada is beautiful, and the air is clean.  From what I hear the crime rate is low.

Canada is a beautiful country from what I've seen of it.  The people were friendly.  If ever I had to leave the U.S.A., Canada is most likely the place I would try to relocate.

Maybe because not enough restaurants serve poutine and there aren't enough Tim Horton's in the world, eh.
