There's absolutely nothing to take back.  Do you actually deny being a whippersnapper?  That's laughable, deliciously laughable.  Just because you had a Walkman at age six doesn't mean you're some kind of boomer.  Sheesh.

I don’t want to be a boomer like you anyway. I just like to tell you that you are wrong, boomer.

Being a GenXer, I must say I find the word wars between Boomers and Millenials to be hysterical. Allow me to add a little to the conversation ...

I don’t believe that’s a real word people use in the last three decades, so it’s fine that I separated it.

I had one in Jr high.  I used to get in trouble because I would lay the headphones on my shoulders and turn it up so it sounded like I was listening to the radio.   My parents told me they bought that thing so they did not have to listen to my music.

I still do not use earbuds or anything like that...I do not like the sound going directly into my ears.

I cannot use earbuds at all because my ears are extremely small* and most inner-ear headphones never stay inside them. After only a few seconds, they pop out, it’s even worse when I’m active, which is a lot, and it’s usually when I need headphones the most.

*Probably one of the results of having been born premature(ly).

I use Bluetooth headphones. One of the few things about electronic music reproduction I find positive.

My son has that problem as well. He can only use the Apple earbuds.

I never had or held one.  I had no desire to own one, so why would I even touch one?  (however, I did have a transistor radio in the shape of a 7UP can)
