There's nothing wrong with being boring, but then again I'm not that sane, to begin with. My views on life may be a bit distorted because of it.

No. Definitely not. Not "more boring:" just more opposed to people having fun.

Don't bring it to my lawn if you don't want to get hosed.

That sounds like you're out there hosing down bunnies and squirrels who're getting frisky, Danilo! :)

I hope you're not opposed to people having fun if they're not harming you or anyone else. Fun is a good thing! :)

I think I just came up with a new slogan: NUF FUN. But I am indeed just kidding, Savvy ;)

I don't think so. Some others might think so, but I don't really care.

  • Maybe. The other day I sat down with my friends, put my glasses on, and said "Now who wants to hear a good story about a bridge?" :P

I'm laughing.  I had dinner with six friends not too long ago.  They asked what I had been up to, expecting to hear about an adventure of some kind.  When I told them I had discovered Harvard's free classes online they just stared at me.   Noo!! I'm not boring.

No.  I find that I'm not interested in a lot that people my age are interested in.  I run a large group on Facebook for retirees to help with problems associated with retirement.   It's not legal advice, just help getting people going in the right direction.   I've been doing this for 10 years.  I feel like I'm younger than all of them.  I think of them as being my mother's age and some of them are younger than I am.   Many old folks have no one to help them.  All of the members help each other too.  It's a job reading everything to be sure no one is given advice I know to be incorrect.   This is a way to be helpful but not in a professional way.

I have so much more to talk about as I age - every day is new and exciting. I find that people are mesmerized when I start describing my physical ailments and give them an 'organ recital'. They love to hear about my adventures like the time I got the cashier at Walgreen's to accept an expired coupon.
