    All the time.  However, many times people won't accept that as an answer, and will keep pressing me for the "real" answer.  (what part of "I don't know" don't they understand?)

    Yes, I've said it frequently.

    And I have on numerous occasions said to other people that "I don't know" is an answer I am perfectly willing to accept---unless of course you were responsible for knowing the answer.
