    Greal news, Ele! :D

No more pain in that ol' elbow, and all your full function returned to your arm. How wonderful!

Will you get any of your other joints done at some later time?

Will you become a bionic man?

Ha ha! Very humorous. (He rolls his eyes.)

What caused the deterioration of the upper arm bone and shoulder socket?
Was it arthritis or osteoporosis, a break, severe wear and tear in the navy or playing sport...?

King Arthur. Hereditary. I also got the shrinking gene. Four inches lost in twenty years. You are probably taller than me.

I assume you are not claiming descent from King Arthur.
I couldn't find any link between King Arthur and a genetic shrinking disease.
Feeling particular thick at the moment and would love it if you'd clarify the reference.

All of us shrink about two inches between the ages of 60 and 70 when the cartilaginous discs between our vertebrae begin to ossify.

    I was 5' 5'', am now almost down to 5' 4".

Ari was always very small, 5' 4", and now down to 5' 2''. His family tends to have inherited bone disorders. In his case, severe kyphoscoliosis, bent shins and unusually long arms and large head.
His cousin, though a woman, has the widest shoulders I've ever seen.

What do you want for letting us know, a metal?

(See what I did there? Lol.)

We will have something in common. I don't know if you'd say this was a whole humerus, but there is certainly a lot of titanium in my arm as you can see on my last x-ray.
