Why; what is your intuition telling you?
~
So I’m beginning to grow on you after that original bad impression is slowly fading away. I like that, I really do.
~
I know, right? I was going to ask you to stop obsessing about me, but then I reflected on how much it must be doing for you. I wouldn‘t want the responsibility or guilt of you going off the deep end, so I will do you a favor and let it keep going. Oh, look, there’s a spot in my schedule opening up next week for four hours and twelve minutes! I should pencil you in for the first half of that, shouldn’t I?
~
You waited too long to get back to me, someone else has also caught my eye in the meantime, so now I have to split the four hours and twelve minutes three ways.
~
You took way too long getting back to me again. Don’t worry, you know I wouldn’t try to squeeze you into such a narrow time slot. I’m sure there are other things you can do for me around here while I entertain the ladies who are courteous enough to respond to my invitations . . .
~
~
Hey, wait! I’ve been trying get sandwiches from you for quite some time now, and he just shows up yesterday and you’re already drooling all over him? What are you trying to do, run me into Jane’s arms? Grrrrrrr.
~
You’ll be sorry! Just like all the others, you’ll eventually come crawling back. See you then.
(Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr for the Rosie crack.)
