    RCMP guy pulled me over because he spotted me take a sip from a bottle of beer. When he approached my vehicle the first thing he said was "drinkin' and drivin', EH?"

    I do not think it is ever meant to be a stand-alone single word question.  So it is not an unanswerable question...it is an improper question. 

    It is used to at the end of sentence that is more of stating an fact. And expecting the other person to agree.

    Right, for maybe 5 minutes. Until you or Stu slap them with a grammar correction or they get edited for content for typing "Okay, smarta$$" to someone, or they see the corner, or are freaked out by your tilde references, or, or, or....

    I guess at least Sharonna isn't here to bite the heads off of people for no reason. Can't believe it, but I do miss her!

      Yes, you’re right: the little whippersnappers have been taught from birth by mummy and daddy that they’re always right about everything, and that anyone who challenges their delicate sensibilities is just a mean old poopy-head. Oh, look, one of them is on my lawn right now, I think she’s Canadian  I have to go shoo her away, I’ll be right back. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr.
