I would set up a phony company and embezzle all of the money. Then I would take a 2 month vacation to Jamaica. Did you write "pathetic" on purpose?

To properly set up the business the first time I mean I think I probably spent more than 20k in that first year for legal fees and registering some things I needed. Also I had no office and little hardware because I was going from working for employer to self employed. After that it is not as much.
Wonder how many $millions I could make if I produced a kit for about $20.00 that would convert car horns to sound like 'Trump! trump!' instead of 'toot toot'...

I would like to buy a Papa Murphys pizza franchise. The closest one to here is about 45 miles. I generally stay away from chain restaurants, but this is very good pizza that is put together on a pan that you take home and bake, right in that pan, in your own oven. You get piping hot delicious pizza for a reasonable cost. Too bad the initial investment is $250,000. And you don't even have to buy cooking equipment! I don't want it that badly. :)
With $20,000, a website store of some kind is probably the best bet.
I did just a short time ago. Now I hypothetically only have about 10 left. Hypathetic, isn't it?
