What was the most recent incident in which you refused to do something, and who was it that wanted you to do it? ~

I wouldn’t accept a mayonnaise-laden cracker sample at the grocery store being offered to me by a sales rep.

I usually shop at Publix; they sanitize each shopping cart when it brought into the store from the parking lot.  A very nice gentleman tried to offer his cart as I was walking through the parking lot (you know, I park at the back).  I told him thank you but I'll pick up one insidethree times before I raised my voice and told him I was not going to touch his cart because I preferred to get a freshly cleaned one inside.  He looked at me like I was from another planet but I just kept walking.

I just denied a friend request on Facebook from someone I don't know and with whom I share no friends.  Says he's a lonely widower with a 16 year old daughter.  I have underwear older than his kid.

Actually, it's kind of a ritual. I am always asked if I want a piece of cake for my grand kid's birthdays. I always say no and that I don't eat sweets. Last October.

I actually like living through 4 distinct seasons each year.

Variety is the spice of life, Randy. I thought you knew that!

      I don’t know what you’re talking about.

    [Later, photographic evidence is released.]

Hold on, I can explain. This isn’t what it looks like.

Sounds like a perfect invitation for dining in to me!  I’ll be right there, Bubbles!

I refused to walk back to my car to doublecheck that I had, indeed, locked the car.

    The demanding person was WelbyQuentin.

I tire of my second guessing myself and I told myself to trust myself.

(Yes, i know I could have easily "pressed my keys button" and I would have seen the lights flash or whatever. I don't even trust i do that correctly.)

Try pressing the button twice. Once  right when you shut the car door and again after you walk about 10 feet away.

I also remind myself that there's really nothing worth stealing in my car anyway. :)
