Golfers are a great example of what I mean Autumn. They keep trying to get better. It can take years to get passably adequate in golf. It is a very difficult game to master. I don't have the patience. Of course I'm not an athlete either. I tried tennis a few times. Never tried golf. Jim loves and plays both sports. Turns out due to surgery in both eyes in the past my depth perception is kinda off kilter. Which means I swing at the ball where I think it is mid-air and it isn't there. So I gave up tennis. Golf doesn't appeal to me to try to play. I do enjoy watching the great golfers during tournaments do their thing. I can't remember in my entire life trying and failing and trying and failing and trying and failing at the same thing more than once. It was a shorthand class in high school which I just couldn't get the hang of and then one day like magic everything clicked in and it was smooth sailing. But I had to keep trying because you do not give up when you're in school. Thank you for your reply! :)
thats a good point, im kind of in a situation like that now, i worked at a calling center 2 yrs ago and had trouble learning the stuff, so they put me on leave telling me i needed to get tested for a learning disability, i couldnt find anyone to test me so i never went back, i got unemployment for that one cause of being put on leave, now another calling center has had my application and last wk they called me , asked me to interview and then hired me, im thinking the same thing, is it worth it to try again, what if it works out this time, i decided to try again and hope im doing the right thing, one thing i will not mention is that i might have a learning disability, its none of their business as far as im concerned, lost my other one cause of opening my big mouth
