Witnessing someone harming a child or animal evokes anger.

Happy children and happy animals evoke joy.

The Johnstown (Pennsylvania) Flood of May 31, 1889

Since a teen, I've researched and read and studied etc. about the Flood. I've visited Johnstown several times.

The many, many aspects of the disaster  bring about even more than two distinct emotions for me-- there is anger, inspiration (what some people d for others is amazing), sadness, disappointment, fear, - - probably more emotions, too.

The current price of fuel thanks to the pointless war His Royal Orangeness started evokes shock and anger.

It was absolutely a US missile that hit the school, neither Israel nor Iran is armed with Tomahawks - so Trump killed 170 little girls to draw attention away from the growing stack of evidence that he violated dozens of other little girls. As a result, I'm paying $2.60 per liter (not per gallon, per liter). This post was edited by Slartibartfast at March 29, 2026 11:03 AM MDT
