The ones that worked with me in the mine sure were - when I said jump they jumped but it wasn't because they knew I was a bad a** it was because they knew that I had poor math skills so I probably made another measuring mistake on the fusses so they better jump for cover behind a scooptram. Cheers!
I don't think so. I think some American men are intimidated when they feel they aren't the stronger and/or smarter in a relationship. I can only surmise that it comes from that place of being responsible for the well-being and safety of the women in their lives. I also think that dies off some with age.
