What is the most expensive gift you have ever purchased for yourself?

Not something you needed, like a car etc, but something you just wanted.

    I gave all of my collections to my children. Stipulation...do not sell them.

    They would not get as much as I paid for them, as circulated collector sets are difficult for dealers to sell. I quit when my collections were full. 55 years.

    My Mother started my collection and I kept it going for years.  Everything was graded and in special boxes, a lot of work then someone broke into my house and stole the entire collection.  Including an uncirculated gold coin from way back.  Don't remember the year but it would be worth a lot today.  I try not to think about it, it is very upsetting.

    i shop a lot so it’s honestly hard to say, but besides electronics it would probably be some shoes, I have a couple pairs of platform heels that are a few hundred dollars

    I confess I went on a fountain pen spending spree at Christmas.. I fell in love with several pens and felt I deserved them all!  I bought around 6 or so I think.. shocking!

    When I bought my radio I thought it was very expensive but I just wanted it.  It is one of my favorite possessions.  I turn it on at least one time each day.  I fully expect it to outlive me.

      This is about the tildes, isn’t it. I keep  telling you that I will NOT go intervention, group therapy, psychiatric treatment, deprogramming, rehabilitation, or anything like them! Grrrrrrrr.
