What is a product or service you have ever purchased or paid for after seeing it advertised on a TV commercial?

A long time ago I got a bill payer loan from Household Finance Corporation.

I don't watch or hear them.  However, back in my early years of marriage Winn Dixie would advertise beef sale prices on TV.  They were the "Beef People," and I bought meat there even if I went to Kroger for other things. 

I bought those military grade ultra hi-beam flashlights.  They didn't disappoint.

Superannuation. I always use an Industry fund after seeing adverts that showed them consistently outperforming retail ones - and my own subsequent research backed that claim.

A Ronco 'Showtime' It still cooks some excellent meals.

Pet nail file called "Pedi-paws" or something similar. Still works after 15 or so years.
