Do you think we should have a 'National Bad Grammar Day'?

Hell, half the country celebrates that every day.

But Don Quixote isn’t complaining about Internet vs internet, so it’s a job for you.

One thing you learn when you get old is that there's only so much time left to be wasted in battles that get you nowhere and make no difference to most people. Just because I know better doesn't mean I have the strength to change something.

And yet, you felt compelled to raise the issue in the first place.

I've had my grammar /spelling corrected on this site a few times, It's not clever, it's not funny, it doesn't make you smarter than me, it just makes you look like an a-hole.

Even though it's as easy to get right as it is to get wrong. If you didn't make the errors, no correction would be necessary. Further, nobody claims to be smarter than anyone else, and name-calling is uncalled for.

I used to do that until we ran a member off of here. I felt quite bad about that. I only go after Randy and Stu SB.

I know.  For some reason, nonnative speakers of English make a lot less grammar mistakes than we do.

Oh, here comes that new cop guy with the club.  What did I do now?

Is nonnative correct?  I thought it was non-native. I might have just gotten something right on accident, lol.

No.  Thinking up national days is moronic.  Observing them is sometimes more than moronic. This post was edited by Thriftymaid at December 29, 2022 8:19 PM MST
