Carmel-by-the-Sea, The Outback, Upper Peninsula, White Cliffs of Dover, Commonwealth of Virginia,

What are some other place names (NOT merely terrain features nor geographical definitions) anywhere worldwide and in any language that include preposition words?

No businesses or companies, please.

Is there an actual place called Over the Rainbow?

      Isn’t downtown a geographical definition?

    Yes, it's somewhere.

No.  Downtown is the business and commercial center of a city.  It is not more likely to be in any particular direction compared to the rest of the city.

All accepted except In-and-Out Burger; it is quite obviously the name of a business and not a place name. Were it to apply, then any and all other businesses with prepositions in their names would also apply.

Based on the history between you and I, you will most likely attempt to argue the point because you can hardly ever admit you’ve erred, so I will inform you right from the beginning that no amount of naysaying on your part can change an incorrect answer into a correct one.

    A restaraunt is a place.
GPS will give me directions to get to that place.

    Your question said PLACE.

You did not define how you meant place.

    Place:
    1aphysical environment SPACE
ba way for admission or transit
    cphysical surroundings ATMOSPHERE
2aan indefinite region or expanse all over the place
b: a building or locality used for a special purpose

I believe a restaurant meets definition 2b.  You should make your question to mean what you where going for specifically.

That portion of your answer has been deemed disqualified, it’s as simple as that, not complicated. Continued protestations will not change that.  Please re-read the description field.
