For those of you who like love songs, do you have a favourite to share?

I'm not a fan of the genre, but I think this one is fun.

I've never thought of 'love songs' as its own genre, but I suppose it is.

I rediscovered these two recently and have been enjoying them:

She's A Devil by BTO. I really like the lyrics so I included them Cheers and happy weekend!

You're invited to join the procession
There is someone I'd like you to meet
She looks like she might be for hire
But you won't find her out in the street
Her hair is the color of mine
And she's spending the night beside me
Could this be my mind? Am I dreaming?
Or maybe, I got you really
    She's a Devil
    She's desire
    She's an Angel
    I'm on fire
I found in my life there were others
But no one so equal it seems
And you stand at the edge of my heaven
But her fingertips pulsing to me
Her hair is the color of mine
And she's spending the night beside me
Could this be my mind? Am I dreaming?
Or maybe, I got you really
    She's a Devil
    She's desire
    She's an Angel
    I'm on fire
    She's a Devil
    She's desire
    She's an Angel
    I'm on fire
You're invited to join the procession
    There is someone…

    Yes!!
    :)

Everything - literally -- they have sung, I love!

I met them in their dressing room one time! They were hilarious and so friendly to me.

I truly call them "life changing" for me -- their impact on my life. In so many ways, just listening to their amazing voices and harmonies have bettered my life in so many  "non-musical" ways. True music therapy for this guy. Have loved them since I was 11. (And I love them whether there were four sisters in the group or three; many years of a quartet and trio.)

    I'm rambling.  :)

Thanks, Element 99. Yes, you're right -- "awesome" is the word. It was a good "gratitude exercise" for me this evening to share about them. The Pointer Sisters have really bettered my life.

    Yes, you're right. :)

I'm more and more finding that to be consciously grateful for people and things helps me remember how much I truly have for which to be grateful. And that helps me in my life. These sisters, indeed, have bettered my life in so many ways, too, like I said.  :)
