Why the heck was everyone Kung Fu Fighting anyway?

    Well I don't know why the other people did it but I did it because it was a fun drinking game called Drunken Kung Fu Fighting. When the song first came out  the local radio station played it ever half hour or so. We would sit around drinking until we heard the song then we would jump up - bow to each other then start Kung fu fighting each other until the song ended then we would go back to drinking and wait for the song to come on again. There were 3 rules to the drunken kung fu fighting game - before you threw a kick or chop you had to say - ahh so - if  you connected you had to say - so sorry and there was no hitting above the eyebrows. Cheers!

      Great song, great memories!
      I think they were all doing it because martial arts was such a big phenomenon in the inner cities back then.
