What is your favorite movie theme song?

    Yeah, way too many favorites (per usual). I cannot even decide on which variety of flowering tree is my favorite and there aren't that many of them. 

    Here's one from childhood that I loved and also loved to play on the piano! :)

    Shut up! I loved it in 1980 or whatever. Have you seen that movie? Of course you haven't. 

    I've got the robot noise you linked playing in the background. Not bad for robot noise! 

    Oh! I just looked at the video and it's disgusting bloody gore, ffs!  You're probably going to get in trouble for posting it!

    Though I can easily see myself returning to your question over and over because there is so much movie music out there that I enjoy,  these three came to my mind first:

    "Prelude"                      from Bernard Herrmann's score for "Psycho"

    "Ave Satani"                 from Jerrry Goldsmith's score for "The Omen"

    "Quilting Theme"           from Thomas Newman's score for "How To Make an American Quilt"     ( I got 'outvoted' on what movie we were going to see that night --  and I ended up liking this movie more than any of my friends who wanted to see it, ha; this music is so lovely to me)
