Do you take yourself seriously?

No.  In fact, I don't take myself anywhere anymore... not after that ... that .. incident.  Several years ago I invited myself out to a fancy restaurant, then proceed to order the most expensive things on the menu.  Then when it came, I stood up and yelled at the top of my lungs that I didn't love myself anymore and that I was through with myself.  I then stormed out of the restaurant, leaving myself to foot the entire bill.  Talk about embarrassing!

It seems that you can’t take you anywhere without you causing a big scene and humiliating you, can you?  Hey, wait a minute . . .

I don't spend time thinking about my personal importance on the planet. I don't view myself as indispensable. I don't think of myself as God's gift to mankind. I simply live my life a day at a time facing what needs to be faced and doing what needs to be done. Yes, there are many things that I do take seriously but I'm not one of them. :)

Only when I'm supposed to. Even then, it's sometimes a struggle!
