No.  You'd be better off buying a bunch of lottery tickets.

I bought a thousand tickets for something called Shuhak‘s Cash Attack Win-Win Lottery, Retirement, Pension, Vacation and Stuff It All Under A Mattress Plan Fund Program Game Scheme, but it turns out that the fine print says no matter how much I pay into it, some guy named Shuhak is the only one on the win-win side of it. Could it just be a typo and I still have a chance? I only bought the $15 tickets because the guy who was selling them out of the trunk of his car was too busy counting all the money he had received from a bunch of chumps to print $1 tickets. He told me I could come back tomorrow, after he returns from his overnight trip to Las Vegas.

    Hey, wait a second . . .

Hey, I give the same odds of getting your money back as Vegas or the lottery system.

(I'm in the money.. I'm in the money)

Hold on, I‘m at my bank right now making a withdrawal; do you suggest I buy the $20 tickets or the $25 tickets tomorrow?  I’d like the best deal possible, please.

The $20 ticket only gives you a measly .000000000% chance of winning, while the $25 ticket gives you an whopping .0000% chance of winning.  If it were me, I'd go with the $25 ticket.  Im just saying.

Unintentional misspelling or deliberate pun? If the latter, congratulations.
It's a con. Like most pyramid schemes, you needed to be in when it started.

I'm far from an expert, but from wat I've read, it's very volatile.  Wild swings up and down so you can make a lot of money but if you wait too long, you can lose a lot, too.  My preference is something more stable.

((((Psssst: Tilde Futures. I can get you in, I know a guy. Don‘t look around, don’t react; we never know who is watching or listening. Now where was I? Oh, yea. Meet me at midnight tomorrow by the docks on 17th Street and have at least $1,000 cash for each parcel you plan to buy. Small bills only, and make sure you’re not followed. What’s that, is it legit? Of course it’s legit, that’s why we have to whisper! If word got out to the general public that this is available, the buyers would swamp the market, the price would shoot up and supply would dwindle! Grrrrrrr.)))

I would invest, but I'd have to sell my Microsoft stock and that's a no-no.  Sorry.

How about making a $15,000 contribution to my bid to become the country’s first Secretary of Grammar?

It has already run up to too high in price. You are better off buying blue chip stocks like Apple, Google, Intel, Microsoft, PayPal, etc.

None of those stocks are cheap, so unless she has a lot of money to invest, she ay be better off looking for a stock that is lower but has potential for growth.

Find a small lithium interest to invest in - that stuff is already booming, it's going to get a LOT bigger.

About a year ago, I bought shares in a company called Plug Power Inc (PLUG) at a little under $6 a share.  The stock closed on Friday at $30.40.

I disagree. The price of individual shares doesn't matter. You can invest, say, $3,000 in mutual funds that own such stocks, or you can buy, say, 20 shares of Apple or one share of Google for about $2,500. The dollar amount of the investment is more important than the number of shares.

Your suggestion seemed to read as though she should buy stocks individually, not as part of a mutual fund.

Stocks like Apple, Google, Microsoft, etc. are good investments either in shares of common stock or through mutual funds. You don't need to start with tens of thousands of dollars.
