      I don’t do them, I don’t like to be subjected to seeing others do them. Time and a place, there’s always a better time and a better place it could be going on.

    Not appropriate other than maybe a quick peck before embarking on a trip. When our ship was in Bahrain, one of the sailors and a female flight attendant were arrested for holding hands.

    Light kiss, holding hands, arm around each other - all acceptable.  Looking like you're trying to swallow your partner; touching personal body parts; things that make those around you feel as though they are voyeurs - unacceptable.

      Such as on public transportation, in a classroom, trapped in an airline seat next to newlyweds, the spectator stands at a sporting event, or during jury selection.
