Is it merely a phenomenon among American woman to be bugged about open toilet seats?

Or do women in other countries and of other cultures decry it also?

    British women make a big song and dance about that as well, Randy. Sometimes, when I'm in a woman's house I like to deliberately leave the seat up just to wind her up. Lol:)

    No.  I actually have the opposite problem.  My spouse often closes the lid of the toilet to keep the cats out and I sometimes forget that 3 in the morning in the dark.  Yeh...not much fun.  LOL
